Angelica and Kayla went into Hazardous Envy with two goals in mind; to gain a measure of revenge against Tainted Justice and in the process taking a step closer to an opportunity at the SCW World Tag Team Championship by upending Team Desire.  Doing so would be a challenge for the sibling duo, for it would be a triple threat tag against both Tainted Justice and Team Desire.  But they fought bravely and yes, they got their revenge against Tainted Justice and by defeating them and Team Desire at Hazardous Envy, Angelica and Kayla have taken a great big necessary step towards their goal of regaining the tag team championship.

Usually there is no rest for the weary, Angelica and Kayla know this; so they are taking full advantage of the rare break they are getting with these next two Breakdown events without a match.  Together they can prepare for what could come next, and that, they already know, will be the Trios Tournament.

Angelica Jones knows all about The Trios Tournament.  She participated in the last Trios.  Unfortunately, her team didn’t manage to get out of the first round and to this day she blames it on her tag team partners.  That’s the x-factor about The Trios Tournament; you cannot control who you are partnered with.  The eight teams of three will be chosen at random.  Angelica is convinced that she lost because she got paired with duds.

The Trios Tournament is an exciting tournament, not just due to the fact that each participant will potentially be forced to work with people whom they do not get along with normally, but the winning team that manages to get along and make it to the end, the last team standing out of the eight will earn the three trios contracts.

A trios contract is quite literally limited only by the imagination.  With a Trios contract you can book any match you want.  AJ Helms used his Trios contract to give himself and Shaun Cruze a tag team title shot.  Kelcey Wallace used hers to get a match against William Mason in an attempt to gain a measure of revenge.

Angelica and Kayla are hoping that they will get chosen for Trios, because if they are chosen and one of them goes on to win it all, they can grant themselves that SCW World Tag Team Championship Match that they have so long fought for and have been seeking.

The excitement and anxious feelings of Trios has brought Angelica and Kayla together to the Jones family homestead in Boston, Massachusetts.  They are gathered in the living room where the matriarch of the family, the infamous Angelica Jones, is sitting with her feet tucked up under her in a cream colored loveseat.  She is wearing tight denim jeans, her feet are bare, and she is wearing a red blouse.  Her long red hair hangs unrestrained to shoulder length.

The elder Jones has an iPad in her hands that she is staring at intensely.  Meanwhile, in a far less intense scenario is Kayla Jones-Snow and her husband Trenton Snow.  Trenton is seated normally on the matching cream colored sofa.  His wife is lying propped up next to him with her feet on the sofa to the left of her body.  She is wearing a knee length black skirt and a black long sleeved sweater.  Just like her sister, her feet are bare.  Her long gorgeous red locks of hair hang unrestrained to shoulder length.

The topic of the evening is Trios.  Rumors have begun circulating that the Trios announcements will begin very soon.  They realize that there is a good chance that neither of them get picked for Trios but Angelica and Kayla are hoping that at least one of them will get a spot in the Trios Tournament; because if they can win the tournament, they get a guaranteed ticket to any match they want…

…including a potential tag team title shot.  Everything they do is working towards that final goal.  Everything The Sisterhood does is focused on the SCW World Tag Team Championships.  So their Trios engagement, if there is one, will be a part of their tag team title aspirations.

This is why we find Angelica Jones staring intensely at her iPad.  The rumors of Trios Tournament Teams turned out to be true and they are announcing the teams.  Angelica is giving updates as Kayla and Trenton engage in a bit of a competitive game of tonsil hockey on the sofa.

“Alexis Quinne…Donovan Kayl…and…”

There is a pause and Angelica sighs, shaking her head.

“…uh oh…”

Kayla and Trenton break their kissing game long enough for Kayla to shoot a curious gaze towards her sister’s direction.

“What’s the uh-oh for?”

“Dawn.”

Kayla frowns.

“Dawn as in Dawn Lohan?”

Angelica nods her head.

“Yeah.”

“What about her…”

Kayla stops as a light bulb seemingly goes off in her head.  Her eyes grow wide.

“…you mean, she has to team with Quinne and Kayl?”

Angelica smirks and nods her head.

“That’s right.”

The Lohan family and the Jones family have always been close allies and friends.  They do feel bad for Dawn Lohan and her situation but still, despite all of this, Angelica and Kayla cannot help but laugh at this very awkward situation she now finds herself in.  Dawn and Kayl perhaps like each other well enough, but they both detest Alexis Quinne.  Both have had their run-ins with Punk Hazard in the past.  Needless to say, that will definitely be a very dysfunctional team.

“That team won’t win.”

Kayla chuckles as she nods her head in agreement.

“I want to say ‘never say never’, Angelica, but you’re right.   Those three can’t get along long enough to win.”

“I think it’s also safe to say that they won’t pose much of a threat to us.”

Kayla frowns.

“You’re assuming one of us gets a spot.”

“Surely one of us will get in.”

Kayla shakes her head.

“Never make an assumption, they just make an ass out of you and me.”

Angelica snickers.

“Good one, sis.”

Angelica turns back to face her iPad, checking on further updates while Kayla and Trenton return back to their kissing.  A few moments later Angelica’s eyes perk up again.

“Oh, another one announced!”

The kissing from husband and wife ceases yet again.  Kayla and Trenton turns to look at Angelica, waiting patiently on the announcement.

“Katie Steward…William Mason…”

Angelica suddenly breaks into a fit of laughter.

“….HA!  HA! HA!”

“What?!  What is it?!  Who is the partner?”

“KonradRaab!”

“Konrad?”

Angelica nods her head.

“That’s right, they can color!”

The younger sister rolls her eyes.

“You’re being mean, Angelica.  Konrad’s methods may be unusual to you but if they work for him, I say go for it.  Besides…”

Kayla winks knowingly.

“…doesn’t he own a victory over you?”

Angelica frowns as she recalls the one time she did face KonradRaab.  She nods her head.

“Yes, but it was a disqualification loss.  I blasted him over the head with a chair.”

“A loss is a loss, Angelica, so don’t go knocking Konrad or his methods.”

“Whatever.”

Angelica rolls her eyes as she goes back to following her iPad.  And, as usual, Kayla and Trenton return to their tonsil hockey.  Angelica studies the iPad, waiting for more updates, and it isn’t long until…

“Kayla Jones!”

Kayla perks up.

“I’m in Trios?!”

“You’re in Trios.”

That was all Trenton and Kayla needed to hear.  Both sit up straight, Kayla even swinging her feet over the edge, placing them on the floor as she turns and stares intensely at her older sibling, anxiously anticipating the announcement.  She is excited about the prospect of being in the Trios Tournament but perhaps more anxious about who her tag team partners will be.  Does she get a solid, good team that can win it all or will she be handicapped with, for lack of a better term, losers or worse yet, enemies that she can’t work with?

“…Sienna Swann…”

Kayla grins, nodding her head with a look of confidence on her face.  Sienna Swann is the current reigning SCW Women’s Champion and a very solid athlete, a very good wrestler.  She had just been through a massive war with Bree Lancaster, who by chance will be in the Trios Tournament.  Kayla knows that, together with Sienna, she can do great things.  But who will the third person be?  The look on her older sister’s face as she gazes at her with a stupid grin doesn’t help Kayla’s confidence.

“Oh you’re gonna love this.”

“Who is it?”

“Your favorite person.”

Kayla rolls her eyes.

“Quit with the games, sis, and just tell me who my partner is.”

“Lexi Von Aaron.”

And with that, Kayla’s confidence goes right down the tube.  As good as she may be, and as good as Sienna Swann may be, Lexi Von Aaron is tremendously great at screwing things up.  This is due in no small part to the fact that she has been obsessed as of late with none other than AJ Helms.  Kayla is not the type of person to stoop to name calling, but for Lexi Von Aaron, she thinks that it is safe to say that Lexi truly is stupid.  Kayla sighs with frustration as she smacks her forehead.  This was a development that she did not want to have happen.

“Oh Lord, not her, not Lexi…”

“I’m sorry, sis, but it is Lexi.  And apparently she’s even give you all a team name now.”

Kayla furrows her brow out of curiosity.

“What?!”

“Yeah, you three are Team SieXLa!”

Kayla rolls her eyes.

“Oh God, no…”

She shakes her head, slumping back in the sofa, burying her head in her hands.

“…no, no, no…”

“Now don’t get too upset, Kay.”

Angelica gets up from the loveseat, placing the iPad down where she was just sitting.  The matriarch of the Jones family then walks over and sits down on the other side of her younger sister and wraps an arm around her.

“You guys can win this.”

“I doubt it.”

“With that attitude you won’t.”

That was Trenton who just chimed in.  Apparently he, like his sister-in-law, was tired of hearing Kayla complain.

“Look, you know Sienna is good.  As for Lexi, she is crazy but she did manage to come close to marrying AJ Helms…”

“So what?  That just proves how obsessed she is!”

“It also proves how clever she can be if she is properly directed.  And if you do properly direct Lexi, then she will help you win.”

“Right, fine, but how the hell am I going to get her focused on anything other than AJ Helms?!”

“That might be a challenge, but you won’t be alone.”

“Huh?”

Angelica nods her head in agreement with Trenton.

“Your hubby is right.  You have Sienna there to help keep Lexi focused.”

Angelica places a hand on her sister’s shoulder.

“You and Sienna have to be the team leaders here.  If you two can get along and work together, then you can easily work together to keep Lexi focused on the task at hand.”

Kayla sighs.  Next the younger sibling stands up and walks away from Trenton and Angelica and towards a window on the other side of the room where she stands, staring outside.

“I guess you’re right.  Besides, I think Sienna could potentially relate to me.  You know?”

“How so?”

Kayla touches the back of her neck.

“Neck injury, sis.”

“Oh yeah…well…”

Kayla chuckles.

“It’s ok to talk about, Angel.  Everyone knows about it.”

“Yes, it’s just that…”

She sighs.

“…you have no idea how scared I was when you suffered your first and worst neck injury.”

Kayla turns away from the window to face her older sibling, Angelica Jones, who has now stood up from the sofa.  Kayla walks over to her and embraces her in a tight hug.

“I promise you that it won’t happen again.”

“Don’t make promises that you can’t keep, sis.”

The hug is broken and Kayla smirks knowingly.

“Trust me, I got this.  My neck is fine.”

“You say that, but just…”

She shakes her head.

“…I just hate to think about it, you know?”

“I know.  I’m sorry for bringing it up, but Sienna and I truly are connected in that manner.  I can relate to her in that way, sis.  And if that helps us to come together and work together for that common goal of winning this Trios Tournament then by all means, I’ll do it, because I want to win this.”

Kayla takes Angelica by her hands and squeezes them tight.

“I want to win this for the both of us.  If Sienna, Lexi, and I win this…”

“You mean Team SieXLa?”

Kayla frowns, though Angelica is snickering.

“…IF Sienna, Lexi, and I win this, then I can use the Trios Contract to give us a World Tag Team Championship Match.”

“Or a world championship for yourself?”

Kayla shakes her head, disagreeing over Angelica’s suggestion.

“No, if I win this…I know what I’m using it for, and I’m using it on the two of us to get a tag title match.”

“You don’t have to…”

Kayla immediately cuts off her older sister.

“Yes, I do.  We’ve been busting our asses for a tag team title match, BOTH OF US have been working hard for it.  If I win Trios, then we are NOT going to wait any longer.  We will get the title shot we deserve.  Only one thing can slow me down or stop me…”

Kayla sighs.

“…Lexi Von Aaron’s foolishness.”

I owe a great deal to my sister, the matriarch of the Jones family, Angelica Jones.  She’ll deny it, of course.  She’ll say that it’s she who owes me.  But the truth is that I do owe her a great deal and among the things I owe her for is the revitalization of my professional wrestling career.

My career should have been over after my first neck injury, when I broke my neck in a match.  I sure as hell thought it was over and I descended into an abyss of depression, convinced that I could not rebound from that very serious neck injury.  I loved professional wrestling.  It didn’t just save my life, it WAS my life.  And then it was taken from me in the blink of an eye.

You tend to take certain things for granted; that all changes when you realize that you may very well lose it.  I thought I had lost wrestling but my sister was there, to motivate me to bust my ass with rehabilitation, training, to fight to return to the ring.  She would not let me surrender to despair.  She made me continue the fight until I stepped back into the squared circle, proving the entire world wrong not just with a return to the wrestling ring but with a GDW World Championship win.

Sienna Swann, you are not just my tag team partner for Trios, but you and I share a common bond.  You suffered a traumatic injury that threatened to permanently put you out of the squared circle.  Just like my sister was there for me during the dark times, I will be there for you.

I suffered another neck injury several years later.  This one was nowhere near as bad as the first, but it was bad enough to make me have second thoughts about continuing my professional wrestling career.  This time I let the darkness and despair get the better of me.  I retired prematurely.  I retired despite knowing that I had plenty of gas left in my tank and plenty of years left in my wrestling career.

I was an outsider, watching my friends and family within the industry perform before the fans, competing in the sport that they loved, the sport that I loved.  I watched the industry progress while I was on the sidelines, watching them move on past me.

Among the people I watched was my sister.  I watched her compete right here in Supreme Championship Wrestling as a member of Silas World.  And when she needed help to escape from Silas Mason’s grip, I came to her aid.  It may have been a war against a conniving individual for the soul of my sister, but I was still happy because I was once again involved in the professional wrestling world.  It may not have been in an active, competitive capacity, but I had returned.

After the downfall of Silas World, Angelica saved my career once again.  She convinced me to come out of retirement and wrestle with her as a member of the SCW roster.  She convinced me to reform The Sisterhood and together we won the SCW World Tag Team Championship.

I thought I was done for but Angelica convinced me that I still had a lot to give to this business.  I thought I was finished but Angelica convinced I still had goals to achieve.  I would not be here today if it weren’t for my sister.

Now, with my participation in the Trios Tournament 2017, I have the opportunity to give something back to my sister.  And that’s what Trios is all about, isn’t it?  An opportunity for one group of three randomly thrown together individuals to rise above their disagreements and differences, win a tournament, and then earn the right to book any match…

…any match.  Imagine that, imagine Kayla Jones with a Trios Contract.  I have competed for the SCW United States Championship and came oh so close to winning it, being bested only by Ravyn Taylor.  No shame in that, but wouldn’t it be great for me to have another crack at that title?

It has been a very long time since I held a World Championship.  II can almost hear the ring announcer declaring me the NEW SCW World Champion!  It brings a smile to my face.

If I win Trios, I could book myself in a US Title Match.  I could book myself against The World Champion.  But I won’t…I already know what I will use my Trios contract if my team wins…

…The Sisterhood will finally get a one on one shot at the SCW World Tag Team Championship.

Sorry if I sound bitter, but Angelica and I have been battling Tainted Justice, Team Desire, and Adrenaline Rush.  We’ve been battling them and almost all of the other teams in the SCW tag team division and more often than not we’ve won.  We quietly stayed on the sidelines because everyone wanted a piece of then tag team champions Blake Mason and Bree Lancaster.  In particular, AJ Helms and Shaun Cruze wanted their revenge and they got it.  The Honour Code now hold the SCW World Tag Team Championship.

Oh but now The Sisterhood will wait no longer.  We want our SCW World Tag Team Championship and who knows when we’ll get it?  Well I know if my team composed of Sienna Swann, Lexi Von Aaron, and myself can win this Trios Tournament, then I can use my Trios contract to force a tag team title shot.

I won’t do it for me, I will be doing it for my sister, who has done so much for me already.

This team of Sienna, Lexi, and myself are an underdog team.  No one expects us to win.  Not one of you listening to me right now believe that we can actually pull this off.  And that’s fine by me, I don’t want any of you to have faith in us.  It just means that you are all underestimating us and maybe even looking past us, and we’ll use that to our advantage.

We’ll also use that as motivation to win it all.

No, we don’t have former World Champions like Alexis Quinne, Kelcey Wallace, or Syren on our team.  We don’t have the current World Champion, Selena Frost, on our team.  But do you want to know what we DO have?

We have Sienna Swann, the current SCW Women’s Champion who knows how to be a champion.

It has me, a former SCW World Tag Team Champion and someone who has won multiple tag titles in other companies with a multitude of partners, an expert in tag team competition if I do say so myself.  Someone who can work with anyone.

And we have Lexi Von Aaron who…uh…

…well…

…who REALLY loves AJ Helms.

A combination of raw ability, experience, and passion is what you get with Sienna Swann, Kayla Jones, and Lexi Von Aaron.  And another thing we have that other teams don’t is a little something called chemistry.  We have the ability to work together.  We already know what we want to do heading into Trios.  We already have a game plan and we definitely have a common goal.  But you can’t say that for everyone else, now can you?

Will Dawn Lohan and Donovan Kayl even work with Alexis Quinne throughout the tournament or just kick her ass?  Blake Mason has already stated that he doesn’t want to be KonradRaab’s partner.  I feel for Gable Winchester, because any team with Jake Starr on it cannot be trusted.

But those individuals will come later.  Never let it be said that Kayla Jones ever looked past her opponents and, believe me, the team of myself, Sienna, and Lexi are looking past no one, especially not Tyler Tucker, Tommy Valentine, and Dante McCaffery.

Tyler, you and I have a history from the many wars between Adrenaline Rush and The Sisterhood.  I’ve always known what you were capable of but only recently did your individual skills become clear and apparent thanks to your performance in this year’s Shot of Adrenaline Tournament.  You will be a key component to your team.  It’s just too bad what you have to contribute won’t be enough.  It may not be The Sisterhood against Adrenaline Rush but I do have your number and you know it.

Tommy Valentine is one championship short of becoming a Supreme Champion, meaning you would have held every title available to a competitor in SCW.  And for that, Tommy, I applaud you.  You, perhaps, are the most talented member of your team.  You and Tyler make for a great team, and would have had a great chance in this tournament were it not for two problems you have…

…the first and most obvious is the fact that you are going up against me, Sienna, and Lexi.  We do not plan on losing.  Sorry.

The other problem is your third partner, Dante McCaffery.  He’s talented, don’t get me wrong, but he’s also not trustworthy.  Seriously, do you think you can trust anyone associated with PUNK HAZARD?  You two will have almost as big a problem as Dawn and Donovan.

Now I know the rap that Lexi gets, and I know her bad rap is why people are looking past this great Trios team.  They are looking past Team #SieXLa…

Anyway, for all of the criticism Lexi gets, you cannot deny her passion.  And if focused, that passion can become deadly.  And I can promise you that Sienna and I will make damn sure that she is focused on the goal at hand.  After all, Lexi wants the same thing we want.

Sienna and I both want those Trios contracts, allowing us to book any match we want.

Lexi would definitely love the opportunity to book any match she wants…ANY match at all…and it is that opportunity Lexi KNOWS she has that will keep her mind focused on victory on Supreme Saturday, victory in the Trios Tournament.

Angelica likes to call me The Keystone of the Jones family.  A keystone the wedge-shaped piece at the crown of an arch that locks the other pieces in place.  Angelica argues that, like a keystone, I hold the Jones family together.  And I will playing the role of Keystone as a member of my Trios Team.  Lexi will maintain her focus, I know Sienna will be focused, and you can be damn sure “The Keystone” Kayla Jones will be focused on winning that Trios Tournament.

Sienna, Lexi, and I have gone quietly under the radar and we are just fine with that.  We are fine with you lauding such teams as Syren, Merrick, and Bree or Foxx, Lawson, and Frost as being unbeatable.  Go ahead and pick our own opponents over us, in the infamous words of my ex-boyfriend come and place ya bets, boys and girls, because you will lose.  You will all lose.  Team SieXLa is a team of winners and we will accept nothing less than complete and total victory.

And know that if you are unlucky enough to run into Sienna, Lexi, and myself in the Trios Tournament then you will get your teeth kicked right down your throat!
